Bonneville News/Talk 97.3 KIRO-FM Tacoma/Seattle has debuted “KIRO Nights” with Zak Burns & Gee Scott in the 7-10pm slot. Burns had been hosting nights solo since Jason Rantz moved to mornings at sister Conservative Talk 770 KTTH Seattle last September. He joined KIRO-FM in September 2016 to co-host the night show with Rantz after previously co-hosting “Trend KC” middays at Entercom’s 98.1 KMBZ-FM Kansas City and nights at Alpha Media’s 101.1 KXL-FM Portland. Scott had been hosting nights at Bonneville’s “710 ESPN” KIRO. That timeslot has been turned over to ESPN Radio network programming.
Bonneville has completed the shift of News/Talk KIRO from 710 AM to 97.3 FM. The stations had been simulcasting since November. 710 is currently airing a loop directing listeners to 97.3 in anticipation of its flip to sports as “710 ESPN Seattle” on Monday.
