Corus Classic Rock “Big 97.5” CJKR-FM Winnipeg flipped back to Mainstream Rock and its former “Power 97” identity at noon today after a little more than a year and a half after dropping it. Morning hosts Shadoe Davis and Joe Aiello remain in place with the change. The remainder of the station’s on-air lineup will be announced in September. CJKR registered a 3.2 share in the Spring 2016 Numeris ratings, well behind Rogers Media’s 92.1 CITI-FM’s 8.7 share.
Corus flipped CJKR to Classic Rock “97.5 Big-FM” at 8:00 this morning. Positioned as “Big Hits and Real Classic Rock”, Big launched with Peter Gabriel’s “Big Time”.
