Jim Fox Moves To Entercom Dallas As VP/Music Programming

Entercom Sacramento Operations Manager and Vice President of Programming Jim Fox is transferring to Dallas as Vice President of Music Programming and Program Director of Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK and Alternative “Alt 103.7” KVIL. Fox has been with Entercom Sacramento since 2003 where he also programmed Alternative “Radio 94.7” KKDO and Rock “98 Rock” 98.5 KRXQ. Arnie States Returns To KRXQ Sacramento In Afternoons

One month after exiting the “Rob, Arnie and Dawn” morning show at Entercom Rock “98 Rock” 98.5 KRXQ Sacramento, Arnie States is returning to the station to join its afternoon show. States was dismissed from the morning show, which is operated by host Rob Williams’ Williams Broadcasting on March 10 following a month long leave-of-absence. The show has dropped all references to States and rebranded as “Rob, Nobody and Dawn” on KRXQ and its three other affiliates: KDOT Reno, KBRE Merced and KHRE Redding. DSC & RAD Extend Contracts

A pair of long-established California morning shows have renewed their contracts to remain at their current stations. In San Diego, Dave Rickards, Shelley Dunn and Cookie “Chainsaw” Randolph have agreed to remain at Midwest TV’s Hot AC “100.7 Jack-FM” KFMB-FM for four more years. “The DSC” joined KFMB-FM in 2010 after an 18 year run at Clear Channel’s KIOZ. Up in Sacramento, Rob, Arnie and Dawn will remain with Entercom’s “98 Rock” 98.5 KRXQ for five more years after a flirtation with Clear Channel that led to legal actions by Entercom.
