Entercom is changing up the morning lineups at two of its Rochester, NY stations. After 25 years at CHR 97.9 WPXY Scott Spezzano is moving to sister Rock “98.9 The Buzz” WBZA. Spezzano and co-host Sandy Waters will take the spot previously filled by Kimberly Rae and Barry Beck before they were fired in May for hateful comments about transgenders. Taking the morning slot at WPXY are current 4-10pm host Megan Carter and Corey James. Corey rejoins WPXY from Max Media’s “Hot 100.5” WVHT Norfolk, VA where he served as Music Director and Morning Host. The new show will be billed as “#Team PXY with Carter & Corey”. The programs will debut on Friday, September 12 with a simulcast of all four airing on both stations.
