KNUC Rounds Out Airstaff With Corey Dillon For Afternoons

Hubbard’s newly rebranded Country “98.9 The Bull” KNUC Seattle has rounded out its on-air lineup with the addition of Corey Dillon for afternoons. Dillon most recently hosted evenings at Entercom’s “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston until exiting in February. He previously spent much of his career in Top 40 at “Z90” XHITZ Tijuana/San Diego, “95 Triple X” WXXX Burlington VT, and “103.3 Amp Radio” WODS Boston. Dillon joins a KNUC lineup that includes Seth Hughes for middays, and Michael Kraig Mason for nights. Four months after flipping “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle to “Country 98.9” KNUC, Hubbard Radio has rebranded it as “98.9 The Bull“. KNUC launched within a few hours of Entercom flipping 94.1 KMPS-FM from Country to Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD in early December. The station has been staffing up with the addition of Lisa Adams as Program Director, Tim Leary for mornings, Seth Hughes for middays, and Michael Kraig Mason for nights. Seth Hughes Joins KNUC Seattle For Middays

Former 94.1 KMPS Seattle morning host Seth Hughes is joining Hubbard Radio’s “Country 98.9” KNUC for middays. Hughes co-hosted mornings at KMPS until its flip to AC last December. He previously hosted afternoons at KMPS and was APD/Afternoon host at Entercom’s “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF following its launch in 2006. Billy Madison Show Added At Rock 98.9 Seattle

Hubbard Radio Rock “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle has announced the addition of The Billy Madison Show for mornings starting Monday, April 24. Based at Cox Media’s 99.5 KISS-FM San Antonio, KVRQ becomes Madison’s sixth and largest market. The show also airs in Corpus Christi, Palm Springs, Salisbury and Tampa. Jeetz Joins Rock 98.9 Seattle For Afternoons

Hubbard’s “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle has named Joe ‘Jeetz’ Reder as its new afternoon host. Jeetz returns to Seattle from CBS Alternative “X107.5” KXTE Las Vegas, where he began co-hosting mornings with Marco Orem since earlier this year. Prior to leaving for Las Vegas, Reder spent 8.5 years at Entercom Rock 99.9 KISW Seattle and later returned to co-host mornings Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP. He has also programmed “94.7 The End” KZND Anchorage AK in between his first two Seattle stints.

Kim Monroe Joins Rock 98.9 Seattle

Hubbard Broadcasting’s “Rock 98.9” KVRQ Seattle has appointed Kim Monroe as Assistant Program Director. Monroe will also host an air shift in an undisclosed daypart. Hubbard Launches Rock 98.9 Seattle

Hubbard has completed the five days of stunting on 98.9 KLCK-FM Seattle and launched Classic Rock “Rock 98.9” at 12:00 today. Operating under new KVRQ call letters, the new format places the station between Entercom Active Rock 99.9 KISW and CBS Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK. KVRQ is launching with 12,000 songs commercial-free lasting for 30 days. Core artists for the new station are listed as AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Van Halen, Nirvana and Guns ‘N Roses. In the just released February Nielsen Audio ratings, KZOK was third in the market with a 5.4 share and KISW sixth with a 4.7.
