One thing I’ve noticed over the course of this year, I’ve noticed more and more format changes and station rebrandings happening under the radar. Some we’ve heard about from one source but were never able to verify for weeks or months as they took place with no announcements from the station and a lacking online presence. Once again, how do you expect listeners to find you if you don’t let them know you exist. Following the recent closing of its purchase of AAA “Q94.9” KQCB-FM Cannon Beach/Astoria, OR, Spinlogic Enterprises has relaunched the station as “94.9 The Bridge” KBGE. Mark and Mickie Evans’ Spinlogic Enterprises purchased the station last fall from the estate of Calcomm Stations for $170,000. Calcomm owner Cal Brady, who served as GM/PD/Night host at KQCB died in 2013.
