Boone’s Highway Gains Extra Lane

Curtis Media Group’s High Country Radio has made a pair of changes at its Boone, NC cluster. Country “Highway 106.1” WMMY Jefferson has begun simulcasting on 102.3 WECR Beech Mountain. The move eliminates the Hot AC “Mix 102.3” format that had been running on WECR. Concurrently the company has tweaked 100.7 WZJS Banner Elk as it rebrands from “Oldies 100.7” to “Classic Hits 100.7“.
