Great Eastern Radio flipped AAA “101.9 The Peak” WKKN Westminster/100.7 WTHK Wilmington VT to Classic Rock this morning. Retaining the Peak branding, the station has added the regionally syndicated “Greg & The Morning Buzz” based at iHeartMedia’s 101.1 WGIR-FM Manchester NH for mornings and Nights with Alice Cooper for evenings. The move follows Saga Communications recent flip of Classic Rock “Iconic Rock 92.7” WKVT-FM Brattleboro to Variety Hits “92.7 Bratt-FM“. With the flip of WKKN/WTHK to Classic Rock, the Brattleboro/Keene market is still served by Saga AAA “The River” 93.9 WRSI Turners Falls MA/101.5 WRSY Marlboro VT/99.1 W256BJ Keene NH.
Saga Communications has made adjustments at two of their stations in Brattleboro VT/Keene NH. Classic Hits 92.7 WKVT-FM Brattleboro has shifted to Classic Rock positioned as “Iconic Rock”. Concurrently with that change, Classic Rock “103.1 The Mountain” W276CB/103.7 WKNE-HD3 Keene flipped to Classic Country “WINK Country Classics” to flank sister Country “Wink 98.7” WINQ Winchester NH. The changes took place on Monday, December 19.
As we first indicated in Thursday’s Daily Domains, Tri-Valley Broadcasting has relaunched Country “Hot Country 104.9” WYRY Hinsdale, NH as “104.9 Nash Icon“. WYRY, which serves the Brattleboro, VT/Keene, NH market, will utilize Westwood One’s syndicated version of the brand. The local morning show hosted by Sean Patrik remains in place.
