As expected following to exit of morning hosts Mason & Remy in April, iHeartMedia Country “Big 95.5” WEBG Chicago is moving the Bobby Bones Show from a delayed airing in nights to mornings. Amber ‘Alabama’ Cole, who remained in mornings following the exits of Mason & Remy, former APD/Midday host Emily Bermann, and PD Steve Stewart, will anchor local elements during Bones’ show from 7-9am before hosting 9am-12pm. WGN Shuffles Morning & Evening Programs

Tribune Media News/Talk 720 WGN Chicago is revamping its morning show and evening lineup. As first reported by Robert Feder, Justin Kaufmann will move from hosting “The Download” from 7-11pm to joining the The Steve Cochran Show as a contributor. The Download will continue as a podcast on WGN Plus and Kaufmann will serve as fill-in host for Cochran. Andrea Darlas, who had been part of Cochran’s morning show, will join The Patti Vasquez Show as newscaster and co-host. Vasquez’s show will move from 11pm-2am to 7-11pm on nights when WGN does not have Chicago White Sox or Blackhawks games and 10pm-1am when they do. Local Media San Diego has agreed to a contract extension with CHR “Z90.3” XHTZ and Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” XHRM Tijuana/San Diego Program Director Randy “R Dub” Williams. Williams has served as Program Director of the two stations since 2011 after previously programming “Hot 92.3” KHHT Los Angeles. With the new deal his title will be changed to Supreme Commander. Former Cumulus Media Chicago VP/Market Manager Peter Bowen has joined Entercom Chicago as Director of Sports. Bowen will oversee all sales for “670 The Score” WSCR and all play-by-play contracts including the Chicago Cubs on WSCR and Chicago Bears on 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS. Prior to spending two and a half years overseeing the Cumulus Chicago cluster, Bowen served as Senior VP of Sales for CBS Radio Los Angeles from 2012-2015 and had a long run in management at CBS Radio Chicago including serving as Director of Sales and General Manager of CHR “B96” 96.3 WBBM-FM.

DuPage Radio’s 1530 WCKG/102.3 W272DQ Elmhurst IL has flipped from a mix of Conspiracy Talk, Brokered Talk, and Dance Music to Sports utilizing Fox Sports Radio programming. WCKG will carry FSR’s Clay Travis from 5-8am, Dan Patrick from 8-11am, Colin Cowherd 11am-2pm, and Rich Eisen on delay from 4-7pm. Other Fox Sports Radio programming will be heard on nights and weekends around brokered programming.
