People Moves 3/12: Julian ‘Jumpin’ Perez Becomes First 104.3 Jams Host

Entercom Classic Hip-Hop “104.3 Jams” WBMX Chicago has picked up its first on-air host as Julian ‘Jumpin’ Perez will host nights from 7pm-12am starting Thursday, March 15. Perez is a longtime mixer in the Chicago market as a member of the “Hot Mix Five” on the original 102.7 WBMX in the 1980s and founder of the “B96 Street Mix” in the 1990s. He also hosted nights at “B96” WBBM-FM in the 90s. Maverick 102.7 Launches In Bryan/College Station

Update 8/22: Bryan Broadcasting launched Country “Maverick 102.7” at 5:20pm today. The station is targeting younger listeners with a CHR styled Country presentation. When Bryan Broadcasting closes on the acquisition of 100.9 KKEE Wheelock (now KVMK) and completes the build of the station it will also air the Maverick programming in the areas north of Bryan/College Station.
