Nina Blanco is crossing the street in Denver. Blanco, who most recently hosted middays at Max Media Rhythmic CHR “Flo 107.1” KFCO Bennett is joining the morning show at iHeartMedia CHR “95.7 The Party” KPTT as co-host alongside JJ Kincaid and Producer Dubz starting Monday, September 17. The Chicago native came to Denver last year and has served in multiple roles at KFCO including morning host, afternoon host, and just last week had moved to middays. She has also spent time in nights at Max Media CHR 101.5 WCIL-FM Carbondale IL and nights and mornings at Emmis’ “Now 96.3” KNOU St. Louis. Wolf Out; Altitude Sports Incoming For 92.5 Denver

As we first indicated in our 8/29 Domain Insight, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment has announced that “Altitude Sports 950” KKSE Parker/Denver CO will move to 92.5 on Monday, September 17. The move to 92.5 will replace Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Broomfield. New KKSE-FM call letters have already been reserved for the FM. With the move of the local programming to 92.5, 950 will pick up the national Fox Sports Radio network feed and serving as overflow outlet for play-by-play. KWOF was third ranked Country station with a 1.3 share in the August 2018 Nielsen Audio ratings released today trailing Bonneville’s 98.5 KYGO with a 6.2 and iHeartMedia’s “106.7 The Bull” KWBL’s 2.3 share. KEZW Denver Moves In An EZier Direction

Entercom has taken Oldies “Cruisin 1430” KEZW Aurora/Denver CO to Soft Oldies with new “EZ 1430” branding. The station is focusing on lighter songs from the 50s through 80s from artists like John Denver, Rosemarie Clooney, Elvis, The Beatles and Nat King Cole. Rick Crandall remains in place as morning host from 6am-12pm. KEZW registered a 0.7 share in the July 2018 Nielsen Audio ratings. The move places KEZW closer musically to Crawford Broadcasting’s “Legends 810” KLVZ Brighton.

Jenny D Jumps From KWOF To KOSI Denver

Bonneville AC 101.1 KOSI Denver has announced that ‘Jenny D’ Hopkins is joining the station as morning co-host. After 15 years at Bonneville AC 101.1 KOSI Denver, midday host Denise Plante has exited the station after being unable to come to terms on a new contract. Plante has been a fixture in the Denver market for over two decades. She previously spent time in middays at “Mix 100.3” KIMN and afternoons at “Alice 105.9” KALC before joining KOSI in 2003. Max Media has completed its evolution of “Flo 107.1” KFCO Bennett/Denver CO from Classic Hip-Hop to Rhythmic CHR.
