Entercom continue to revamp the markets it acquired from CBS Radio as two more Market Managers have exited the company. The Philadelphia Business Journal confirms that Steve Swenson has exited as head of the company’s Washington DC cluster, a role he had held under CBS since 2011 after previously overseeing that company’s two All-News stations in New York. Phil Zachary, who moved from Entercom Boston to his native Hartford upon completion of the merger, will now relocate to Washington. Zachary oversaw Classic Rock 94.7 WARW and Alternative 99.1 WHFS for CBS Radio from 1996-2001 before becoming President/COO of Curtis Media Group. The FCC is proposing an adjustment of its rules in regards of translator interference complaints. In partially adopting a rulemaking originally proposed by the National Association of Broadcasters and Aztec Capital Partners, the FCC would allow translator causing interference to make a change to any available frequency as opposed to just the minor changes allowed now. It will also require six legitimate interference complaints as opposed to just the one with all complaints required to demonstrate that they are a "regular listener" and is not connected to the affected station.
