Grover joins WYNN-FM from iHeartMedia Urban 107.5 WGCI Chicago where he served as Mix Show Coordinator and weekend/fill-in host. He has also worked on-air at WKKV Milwaukee, WIKS New Bern, WZHT Montgomery, and KMJJ Shreveport. He will also host afternoons at WYNN-FM. Qantum Communications has shifted AC “Sunny 105.5” WDAR-FM Darlington/Florence, SC to Christian AC. Now branded as “Positive Hits”, the station is utilizing programming from Salem Radio Networks including Doug & Jaci Velasquez in mornings and Andrea Jaxon at night. The station registered a 3.4 share in the Spring 2013 Arbitron ratings with its prior format.
Miller Communications has flipped Rhythmic Oldies “Jammin 98.9” 1230 WOLH Florence/1260 WHYM Lake City/98.9 W255BD Darlington, SC to Sports “ESPN 98.9“. The station’s “Pressbox With Allen Smothers” remains in mornings, but shifts from 7-9am to 8-10am. The regionally syndicated “Sportstalk with Phil Kornblut” moves from sister News/Talk “Live 95.3” WFRK and will run from 6-8pm. The remainder of the station’s lineup will come from ESPN’s national offerings. The stations replace Cumulus’ “100.1 The Fan” WWFN as the ESPN Radio affiliate in the Florence market.
