Cruz Launches In Fort MacMurray

Update 12/26: CHFT completed its reconstruction and relaunched as Variety Hits “100.5 Cruz-FM” at 10:00am. The station is branding itself as “Fort Mac’s Greatest Hits” with a mix of music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. The station’s airstaff will debut on January 6. Original Report 12/22: Last week we reported that Harvard Broadcasting AC “Lite 95.7” CKEA Edmonton may be relaunching as Variety Hits “Cruz-FM” after the holidays. Rogers Launches Canadian Country Brand

Update 7/3: Rogers completed the rebranding of the remainder of their FM Country stations to the “Country” moniker. “Y101” CKBY Smiths Falls/Ottawa is now “Country 101.1“, “Kix 93.5” CKXC Kingston is now “Country 93.5“, and “Q104” CJQM Sault Ste. Marie is now “Country 104.3“. The changes bring identical logos and imaging to the stations.
