Eversole Media Group has rebranded its Rhythmic CHR’s in Missoula and Kalispell MT. “Heat 104.1” K281CH/KMSO-HD4 Missoula and “Heat 97.9” 1340 KYWL Evergreen/97.9 K258BW Shelby/Kalispell have relaunched as “Wild 104“. With the relaunch comes a move to mostly syndicated programming. Local PD/Morning Host Greg ‘Air’ Jordan is out and replaced in mornings by the syndicated Big Boy. Middays remain voicetracked by Mellie Mel, while the syndicated Nessa On Air is now at night. The station is also carrying Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Explicitly Old School” at 12pm and promoting Rick Dees’ “Daily Dees” on its website.

Station Sales AVM Broadcasting has exercised its option to acquire Haitian “Radio Puissance Inter” 1530 WYMM Jacksonville FL from Word Broadcasting Network for $60,000 on top of the $350,000 in previously paid LMA fees. The buyer has operated WYMM via LMA since April 2014. Ponca City Pub sells News/Talk 1230 WBBZ Ponca City OK to Sterling Broadcasting for $180,000. The price will be $120,000 cash and $1000 worth of advertising per month for 60 months. The buyer owns AC “Sunny 104.7” KQSN Ponca City and has operated WBBZ via Time Brokerage Agreement since August 2015. CHR “Star 99” KKMT moves to 92.3 Ronan MT, where it will operate with 60kW at 707 meters along with a 94.7 translator serving Kalispell with 34 watts as “Star 92“. Country “Q92.3” KQRK moves in reverse as “Q99.7“. The Pablo, MT station operates with 1.8kW at 644 meters along with an on channel booster in Kalispell running 95 watts.
