Woof Boom Radio has announced it will acquire Childers Media Group and its five stations in Lima OH. Woof Boom, which currently owns six stations in Muncie IN, will add Country “92.1 The Frog” WFGF Wapakoneta, Sports “93.1 The Fan” WWSR Lima, Classic Rock “104.9 The Eagle” WEGE Lima, Classic Hits “Fun 107.1” WDOH Delphos, and “Sportstalk 940” WCIT Lima. Terms of the deal have not been announced. Childers Media Group purchased the cluster from Maverick Media in 2013 for $2.1 million.
