Los Angeles Kings Set iHeartRadio App As New Home For Radio Broadcasts

The NHL’s Los Angeles Kings are moving their game broadcasts to the new “LA Kings Audio Network” on the iHeartRadio app. Kings games had been heard on Cumulus Talk 790 KABC the past four years. Some games including the first two preseason games this week will also air on iHeart Conservative Talk “1150 The Patriot” KEIB. The LA Kings Audio Network will also include a 30 minute long pregame show, the postgame Kings Talk, additional online Kings content and game replays. ESPN LA Revamps Morning & Afternoon Shows

ESPN’s “ESPN LA 710” KSPN Los Angeles will debut new morning and afternoon shows on Tuesday, September 4. Travis Rodgers, who currently hosts afternoons from 4-7pm, will move to mornings with existing co-hosts Keyshawn Johnson and LZ Granderson for “The Morning Show with Keyshawn, LZ and Travis”. Rodgers will take the place of Jorge Sedano, who will conveniently make the move to afternoons from 330-7pm with a rotating group of co-hosts. Stephen A. Entravision Resurrects Jose & Super Estrella Brands In Southern California

Entravision is bringing back two brands that it had jettisoned from the Los Angeles market in recent years. In January of this year, the Spanish Adult Hits trimulcast of “Jose” 97.5 KLYY Riverside/103.1 KDLD Santa Monica/103.1 KDLE Newport Beach had flipped to Regional Mexican “La Tricolor“. In May, KLYY reversed course and returned to its previous format and name as “Jose 97.5“. At that time KDLD and KDLE moved to a temporary simulcast of Spanish AC “La Suavecita 107.1” KSSC Ventura/KSSD Fallbrook/KSSE Arcadia. Entercom Gives New Roles To Kevin Weatherly & Chris Ebbott In Los Angeles

Entercom has announced new roles for a pair of its programmers in Los Angeles CA. Chris Ebbott, who currently serves as Program Director for CHR “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP and Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH, will drop those duties at KAMP but become Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles. Ebbott joined the then-CBS Radio cluster in June 2014 from Bell Media Toronto to program KRTH. He added KAMP programming duties in July 2017. Farnham was set to be paired with Marcellus Wiley and Eric Davis, but Davis was quickly let go following sexual harassment allegations while working at NFL Network.
