Station Sales Colorado Public Radio is swapping Indie Rock “Open Air” 1340 KVOQ Denver to Cedar Cove Broadcasting for Spanish Christian “Radio Nueva Vida” 88.3 KRKY-FM Fort Collins and the cancellation of a $100,000 promissory note due to Cedar Cover affiliate Mountain Community Translators by Colorado Public Radio. Horizon Broadcasting Group is transferring impending Portland move-in 96.3 KWLZ-FM West Linn, OR to 3 Horizons LLC, a partnership between Horizon and 3 Cities Broadcasting. 3 Cities owns AC “Mixx 96.1” KXXO Olympia/Tacoma, WA, which is required to build a new facility before KWLZ-FM moves into the Portland market. 92.1 WFEX Sold Too

Following yesterday’s sale of 101.7 WFNX Boston to Clear Channel, simulcaster 92.1 WFEX Peterborough, NH has been sold to Bill Blount, owner of 1320 WDER Derry, NH. Upon closing of the sale, WFEX will become WDER-FM as a full time simulcast of WDER and the seventh New England signal for his Christian “Life Changing Radio” network. His other stations are 760 WVNE Leicester MA, 1500 WFIF Milford CT, 1550 WSDK Bloomfield CT, 1590 WARV Warwick RI, and 105.9 WBCI Bath ME.
