KKSR Leaves The Cities For Classic Hits

Filling the void left when Townsquare Media flipped 97.5 KOLW to Rhythmic CHR earlier this month, Ingstad Radio Washington has shifted Variety Hits “Cities 95.7” KKSR Walla Walla to Classic Hits “Classic Hits 95.7“. KKSR serves both the Walla Walla and neighboring Kennewick/Richland/Pasco markets. In the latter the station registered a 1.6 share in the Spring 2013 ratings. KKSR retains the syndicated Kidd Kraddick morning show with the change.

Townsquare Media Classic Hits “Cool 97.5” KOLW Pasco, WA has used the end of Christmas music to revamp its music and presentation. Now billed as “97.5 Kool-FM“, the station has tweaked its music mix from a primarily 60s/70s mix into the 70s and 80s. With the music shift, Townsquare moves the syndicated Bob & Tom show from sister Active Rock “97 Rock” 97.1 KXRX Walla Walla.
