My Broadcasting Hot Talk/Sports “Extra 90.5” CJMB Peterborough ON will add Bubba for mornings beginning on Monday, February 22. Bubba will join a lineup that includes much of the CBS Sports Radio content including Jim Rome, Doug Gottleib, and Ferrall on the Bench as well as CJCL Toronto’s Primetime Sports. Corus’ “KRUZ 100.5” CKRU Peterborough, ON has completed its evolution from Classic Hits to AC as it rebranded as “Hits 100.5” at 10:00 today. While remaining branded as “Peterborough’s Greatest Hits”, the station is now focusing mainly on music from the 90s through today. The move replicates a similar adjustment made earlier this year at 104.3 CKWS-FM Kingston. Today at 10 a.m., Corus Radio Peterborough launched Hits 100.5, featuring more music, more hits and more fun. Following its purchase of Christian Talk “FM 90.5” CJMB Peterborough, ON earlier this year, My Broadcasting Company will soon relaunch the station as Sports “talkSports Radio“. While no date is set for the launch, The Peterborough Examiner reports the station will carry a mix of local hosts and programming from CBS Sports Radio including John Feinstein and Jim Rome. The station will continue as the flagship of the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League as well as the local affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.
