Farnham was set to be paired with Marcellus Wiley and Eric Davis, but Davis was quickly let go following sexual harassment allegations while working at NFL Network. Connoisseur Media is selling Variety Hits “97.1 Bob-FM” KIBB Haven and Classic Country “100.5 Hank-FM” KVWF Augusta in the Wichita KS market to Rocking M Media. The purchase price was withheld from the sale contract filed with the FCC. Rocking M owns twenty stations across the state of Kansas and is in the process of acquiring five (and divesting one) in Salina KS from Alpha Media. Following the divestiture, Connoisseur will retain 37 stations in Connecticut, Montana, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday, October 12, Entercom will bring Conservative Talk 1330 KNSS Wichita KS to FM, while Sports 1240 KFH will move its FM simulcast to a new frequency. 1330 KNSS will begin simulcasting on what is now 98.7 KFH-FM Clearwater, bringing its Conservative Talk programming to the 50kW Class C2 rimshot. The Sports programming of 1240 KFH will slide down to 250 watt translator 97.5 K248CY Wichita. Both stations will retain their current programming and AM frequency.
