Midwest Communications has acquired Sports “930 The Score” WBCK from the Current Radio Trust for $175,000.
WBCK has been held by various trusts for divestiture since 2007 when Cumulus acquired the remainder of its now former Battle Creek cluster from Clear Channel. Cumulus sold its Battle Creek cluster to Townsquare Media last year.
WBCK will join Country “Win 98.5” WNWN-FM in Midwest’s Battle Creek holdings. The company also owns stations in the adjacent Kalamazoo and Lansing markets.
