Educational Media Foundation is acquiring 107.5 KXMG outright from Sunburst Media for $3.2 million.
The flip earlier this week to EMF’s “K-Love” comes via a Network Affiliation Agreement attached to the sale.

KXMG is now airing Educational Media Foundation’s Christian AC “K-Love” programming. K-Love is currently heard in the New Orleans market on a pair of rimshots: 91.1 WNKV Norco and 91.9 KMRL Buras. The addition of KXMG gives EMF a full market signal once its pending upgrade is complete and could allow the rimshots to bring the “Air 1” Christian CHR network to the New Orleans market.
KXMG holds a Construction Permit set to expire on April 2 to increase from its current Class C2 with 15kW at 277 meters to a C1 with 98kW at 299 meters (Coverage Map).
