River Radio Ministries Christian AC “The River” network based at 104.9 WCVO Gahana/Columbus OH has promoted afternoon host Hailey Reid to Music Director.

Reid has risen through the ranks at the station rising from their Community Impact Team to later co-hosting afternoons with Program Director Josh Hooper and serving as a Programming Assistant. She took over afternoons solo when Hooper moved to mornings in 2022.

Hooper commented, “I’m excited to have Hailey shepherd The River’s music strategy, and for her to dream big about how to continue serving our listeners, the industry and our artist and label partners. We love sharing their amazing work and point people to Jesus! Hailey is an innovative problem-solver and will hit the ground running.”

Reid said, “I’ve loved being part of The River’s music programming team for the last several years, and now I’m so excited and honored to serve our listeners, our team, and our industry partners in the role of Music Director.”
