Cherry Creek Radio flipped AC “99.5 The Apple” KAAP Rock Island/Wenatchee WA to Hot AC “99.5 The Bridge” at noon today.
The new format is being branded as “The Wenatchee Valley’s Hit Mix” and will add the syndicated Murphy, Sam and Jodi show for mornings beginning May 16. The Bridge is running commercial free outside of morning drive through the end of May.
Cherry Creek Radio has flipped AC KAAP (99.5 The Apple) from AC to (The New 99.5 The Bridge) Hot AC. The flip took place at 12n Pacific Time today with Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake as the first song.
OM Chuck Geiger says: “This is a natural progression for our 99.5 frequency, to bring an at work focused product to the forefront, a fun and uptempo music mix that is perfect for North Central Washington work place listening.” SVP/Programming Mark Elliott, Top 40 cluster-mate KWWW (KW3) PD John Connor and Geiger assisted in the transition.
The syndicated Murphy, Sam and Jodi morning show will begin May 16 and the station is commercial-free from 9a-5p Monday-Friday through the month of May.
