INSTANT INSIGHT: While not ruling out the possibility that this is an extended April Fool’s stunt, KDHT becomes the only Commercial Dance station in the country. While CHR has become much more Dance friendly in recent years, don’t expect this to be the start of a major trend towards Dance only stations. KDHT is a rimshot signal that registered a 1.1 share in a market that has not seen a Mainstream CHR success at any time in recent history.
