Cox has agreed to purchase 107.3 W297BB De Bary, FL from Reach Communications for $200,000.
The sale includes a clause for the 250 watt translator, which currently serves the northern suburbs of Orlando, to apply to relocate the translator within the next five days. The sale will see the translator’s originating station shift from Clear Channel’s 100.3 WRUM-HD2 to Cox’ 94.5 WCFB. Cox currently programs Gospel on WCFB-HD2 and Classic Hip-Hop on HD3, but that is no guarantee that either will be making its way to the translator once the sale and move are completed.
