Roger and Nancy Anderson’s Southwest Media is converting its LMA of CHR “Hits 106” KFSZ Munds Park/Flagstaff, AZ from LKCM Radio Group into a purchase for $491,000. Operating as Great Circle Media, the buyers own five other stations in the Flagstaff market.
Mark Jorgenson’s ACM Dallas is purchasing 700 KHSE Wylie and 990 KFCD Farmersville, TX in the Dallas/Fort Worth market from Barnard Dallas for $475,000. Jorgenson also is adding James Crystal Radio’s 1480 KBXD Dallas to his holdings in the market as part of his $5.5 million purchase of that company’s stations out of bankruptcy. He began operating KHSE and KFCD via LMA at the beginning of March.
Vail Radio Partners sells AAA “104.7 The Mile” KKVM Vail, CO to AlwaysMountainTime for $299,250. The buyer owns 11 stations in Colorado.
Centro Christiana de Vida Eterna is purchasing the Construction Permits for 92.3 K222CH Three Rivers, 92.7 K224CI George West, and 104.9 K285GS Freeport, TX from Wendolynn Telez for $37,500. K285GS applies to relocate to 105.3 with 250 watts horizontal at 550 meters rebroadcasting 1480 KLVL Pasadena/Houston (Coverage Map).
Frontier Capital Partners is selling its interest in El Dorado Broadcasters to Milou Investors LLC for $13.2 million. Jason Wolff will continue to have 100% voting control over the station licenses, just a change in the investment firm funding the company. El Dorado Broadcasters owns fifteen stations in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Victorville, CA and Yuma, AZ.
Calvary Christian Fellowship of Cumberland is purchasing Southern Gospel 97.1 WLIC Frostburg, MD from He’s Alive, Inc. for $75,000. As the licensee of 94.7 WZZJ-LP Cumberland, Calvary Christian Fellowship will divest the LPFM CP at closing as nobody can own an LPFM and a full powered station.
The Virginia Tech Foundations sells the CP for 102.1 W271CC Broadway, VA to WBTX Radio LLC for $26,250. WBTX Radio will utilize the translator to rebroadcast Southern Gospel 1470 WBTX Broadway-Timberville. The buyer has concurrently applied to relocate the translator to operate with 76 watts at 186 meters (Coverage Map).
Sheila Callahan & Friends, Inc. sells 95.3 K237DZ Missoula, MT to Edgewater Broadcasting for $40,000. K237DZ also applies to drop power from 99 watts to 40 watts while remaining on its current 506 meter tower. The translator rebroadcasts Christian “Fresh Life Radio” via 97.9 KDXT-HD4 Lolo.
