iHeartMedia News/Talk 640 KFI Los Angeles has introduced “Gary & Shannon” to its schedule from 1-3pm weekdays.
Morning news anchor Gary Hoffmann and afternoon news anchor Shannon Farren will pull double-duty at the station hosting the new show. The duo replace Mark Thompson (not the KSWD morning host) and Elizabeth Espinosa in that time slot as the pair and Assistant News Director Michael Clarke exit. Thompson will continue to make guest appearances on Tim Conway Jr.’s evening show. He and fellow former “Fox 11” KTTV reporter Espinosa joined KFI in February 2014 following Rush Limbaugh’s move to 1150 KEIB.
