Pine Tree Broadcasting is acquiring two AMs and a translator from two companies held by the estate of Dan Priestly. Innovative Advertising Consultants sells “Oldies 94.1” 1230 WGUY Veazie and 94.1 W231CH Bangor ME, while Waterfront Communications sells News/Talk 1400 WWNZ Veazie for a combined $90,000. Pine Tree will begin operating both stations via Time Brokerage Agreement on Monday, December 28. Pine Tree also owns Soft AC “93.7 The Wave” WRMO Milbridge ME.

Rocking M Media is purchasing Oldies 92.7 KWME Wellington and News/Talk 1130 KLEY/100.3 K262CQ Wellington and News/Talk 1550 KKLE Winfield KS from Johnson Enterprises. The purchase price has been redacted from the FCC filing.

Michael Wrenn and Becky Cole’s My Country Radio are purchasing “My Country 99.1” KDWD Marceline MO from William Wachter’s MyTown Media for $245,000. The buyers have been operating the station via Time Brokerage Agreement.

Todd Robinson’s WVJT Inc. is buying out the 50% stake in Radio Greenbrier held by Michael Kidd for $280,161.28. If Robinson were to sell the stations at any time in the next twenty years for over $650,000 plus 5% each year, Kidd will receive 50% of the increased value up to $1.5 million. The stations included are: AC “The New 95” 95.3 WRLB Rainelle, Country “103.1 The Bear” WRON-FM Lewisburg, Sports 1310 WSLW White Sulpher Spring, News/Talk 1400 WRON Ronceverte, and the Construction Permits for 93.3 WVIC White Sulpher Spring and 97.3 W247BZ Lewisburg WV.

Crossville Radio sells Classic Hits “105.7 The Hog” WIHG Rockwood TN to 3B Properties for $612,000. 3B also owns 98.9 WOFE (formerly WVLV) Byrdstown TN, which has simulcasted the programming of WIHG since its sign-on in August.

Domestic Church Media Foundation acquires 1580 WGYM Hammonton NJ from
Access.1 Communications for $75,000. The buyer owns Catholic 1260 WFJS Trenton and 89.3 WFJS-FM Freehold and will flip WGYM to a simulcast of that programming.

Translator Sales

On the east side of San Diego, EMF sells the CP for 94.3 K232FE Spring Valley CA to Sunnylands Broadcasting for $30,000. While currently licensed to rebroadcast iHeart’s 94.1 KMYI San Diego it likely will end up paired with Sunnyland’s 1270 KFSQ Thousand Palms/Palm Springs.

MARC Radio Gainesville purchases the CP for 106.5 W293CR Gainesville FL from Delmarva Educational Association for $70,000. MARC will utilize W293CR to rebroadcast 980 WDVH Gainesville.

Siga Broadcasting is acquiring three Texas translators from David Cunningham for a combined $100,000. 96.3 K242BG Woodville, 99.9 K260AS Jasper, and 102.3 K272EB Woodville will eventually be paired with Siga’s AM’s in the Dallas and Houston suburbs.

Tyler Media purchases 101.9 K270BK Tulsa OK from Screen Door Broadcasting for $185,000. K270BK already rebroadcasts Tyler’s Regional Mexican “La Z” 1570 KTUZ Catoosa.

Screen Door is then purchasing the CP for 100.1 K261EC Stillwater OK from The Love Station for its rights to purchase 102.1 K271BY Duncan OK and $22,500. Screen Door will pay an additional $10,000 if it constructs the CP for the translator by 11/8/2016 with a power over 5 watts overlapping any of the city limits of Stillwater.

Costa-Eagle Radio Ventures buys 97.7 W249AW Lebanon NH and 100.9 W265AM Norwich VT from Harvest Translators for $150,000. The two translators will rebroadcast Costa-Eagle’s News/Talk 1110 WCCM Salem NH and Spanish Talk 1490 WCEC Haverhill MA respectively.

First Class Radio Corp purchases the CP for 93.1 W226BU Saratoga Springs NY from Educational Media Foundation for $30,000 to move to Milford MA where it will rebroadcast First Class’ News/Talk 1490 WMRC Milford.

WOBL Radio acquires the CP for 95.9 W240CT Deerfield MI from Spring Arbor University for $30,000. W240CT will be moved to Oberlin OH to rebroadcast 1320 WOBL.

Robinson Corporation buys the CP for 101.7 W269CN Manitowoc WI from Edgewater Broadcasting for $28,000. W269CN will eventually be used to rebroadcast Robinson’s Oldies 1360 WVRQ Viroqua.

Educational Media Foundation is acquiring the CPs for 100.7 W264CN Appleton WI and 105.7 W289BX Henderson NC from Edgewater Broadcasting in exchange for its options to purchase 99.1 W256CL Park Forest IL and 104.9 W285FE Nassau Village FL from Edgewater.

Church Planters of America sells 95.3 W237BQ Fairmont NC to Conner Media for $35,000.

Eagle Communications acquires the CP for 92.7 K224EX Manhattan KS from the University of Kansas for $20,000 to rebroadcast an HD subchannel of 103.5 KQLA Ogden KS.

Refuge Media sells 100.3 K262AR Worthington MN to Absolute Communications II for $30,000. K262AR already rebroadcasts the buyers’ 730 KWOA Worthington.

Professional Antenna, Tower, and Translator Service sells four Colorado translators to MBC Grand Broadcasting for $20,000. 92.7 K224DN Cimarron will rebroadcast 1340 KTMM Grand Junction, 95.7 K239AW Craig will be paired with 980 KGLN Glenwood Springs, 98.3 K252DZ Mountain Village with 1490 KNAM Silt, and 101.7 K269AB Delta with 1100 KNZZ Grand Junction following the AM Revitalization waiver period.
