Capital City Communications Conservative Talk “95.9 The Point” 1470 WQXL Columbia SC will move its FM signal from 95.9 W240AX to 100.7 W264DF on Sunday, January 1.
W264DF is being moved into Columbia from Lumber City GA as part of the AM Revitalization. It will improve WQXL’s FM coverage as 95.9 currently operates with a directional 250w/71m, while W264DF will operate with 210w/164m from northeast of downtown.
WQXL and both translators are owned by Glory Communications and operated via LMA. The Talk format was launched in October 2013 by former WVOC host Keven Cohen to bring his show back to the Columbia market.
