Broadcast Company of Americas Sports “ESPN 1700” XEPE Tecate MX/San Diego added a seven hour block of business/finance programming from 9am to 4pm daily.
Longtime San Diego based financial advisor Ray Lucia will host from 9am-11am. Lucia has previously hosted at XEPE as well as 760 KFMB and 1130 KSDO in the market. The syndicated Dave Ramsey show will follow from 11am-2pm. Former 600 KOGO afternoon host Bob “Sully” Sullivan will host “Sully’s Big Biz Show” from 2-4pm.
XEPE will continue to carry ESPN Radio network programming at other times.
ESPN 1700 introduces a brand new line up starting Tuesday January 3, 2017. In addition to being San Diego’s exclusive source for national ESPN programing the station will introduce a new seven hour programing block entitled, “Your Business, Your Life”.
The NEW programing begins January 3, 2017 at 9am with the return of local San Diego finance expert Ray Lucia and “The Ray Lucia Show”. Ray is a world class finance and retirement specialist who gained prominence with his “Buckets of Money” retirement strategy. Ray returns to the local San Diego airwaves with a unique show that combines the best of his national show with a local presentation just for San Diego. Ray’s Show has previously aired on KSDO and XEPE, and he is frequently a commentator for many of the national business focused television networks.
The nationally syndicated “Dave Ramsey Show” will follow Ray Lucia from 11am – 2pm weekdays. Hosted by best-selling author, Dave Ramsey, the live radio talk show focuses on life and how it happens to revolve around money. The show can be heard by more than 12 million listeners weekly on more than 575 radio stations nationwide.
Listeners from across the country call in daily to ask Ramsey about: how to start a small business, stop fighting with their spouse, teach their kids about money, save for retirement, get out of debt and other life issues they are struggling with and wondering “What would Dave do in my situation?” The radio show offers hope to listeners who feel lost in our current economic times. People regularly call in to tell Ramsey how much debt they have paid off and scream that they are now DEBT FREE!
Rounding out the New ESPN 1700 line up is veteran San Diego talk show host Bob “Sully” Sullivan who brings “Sully’s Big Biz Show” to San Diego, where business meets lifestyle. The show will air weekdays 2-4pm. Sully has most recently been heard on KOGO AM in San Diego and is often seen on KUSI- TV as a business analyst, as well as Nationally on the Biz Talk Radio and Television Network. “BCA Media President Mike Glickenhaus adds, “There is nothing like this three show content block available in San Diego.
