Black Diamond Broadcasting has flipped Soft AC “Easy 95.5” WQEZ Glen Arbor/Traverse City MI to a simulcast of Rock “Rock 105” WGFM Cheboygan.
95.5 takes on new WGFE call letters as it returns to the simulcast it previously held from September 2009 until April 2013. The new format on 95.5 gives a direct format competitor in Traverse City to Northern Broadcast Rock “97.5 KLT” WKLT Kalkaska/98.9 WKLZ Petoskey. WKLT/WKLZ is set to flip to a broader music mix when Blarney Stone Broadcasting completes its purchase of Northern Broadcast.
The former WQEZ call letters move to “Easy 106.3” WOEZ Onaway/Cheboygan, which previously ran the same music as 95.5 with separate imaging and commercials.
