After simulcasting “True Oldies 104.9” WAXI-FM Rockville since DLC Media closed on its acquisition of the former CHR “B92.7” from Emmis in February, WFNB Brazil/Terre Haute IN has flipped to Soft AC “Lite 92.7“.
Positioned as “Five Decades Of Lite Favorites”, Owner Dave Crooks lists Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Adele, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Hall & Oates, Celine Dion, Elton John, Billy Joel, and Whitney Houston as core artists for the new station. Operations Manager Barry Kent launched the new format just before 2pm this afternoon.
The station’s launch was set to take place in March but postponed due to construction delays at the company’s new studio facilities in Brazil.
