iHeartMedia has swapped the formats for its two AMs in Riverside/San Bernardino CA.
The News/Talk format shifts from 1440 KFNY Riverside to 1290 KKDD San Bernardino, while Spanish AC “La Precisoa” moves in reverse from 1290 to 1440. While 1440 KFNY is only 1kW and 1290 KKDD is 5kW, the 1440 signal is more centrally located in the market. 1290 KKDD covers San Bernardino well but has a null away from the Riverside part of the market.
“NewsTalk 1290” features a local program hosted by Lou Desmond from 5-7pm and syndicated programming including Armstrong & Getty, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin.
