The bankruptcy sell-off of Casa Media Partners has come to an end as Lazer Broadcasting agrees to acquire its remaining seven radio stations and one translator for $1.7 million.
Lazer will acquire the “La Maquina Musical” Regional Mexican network of 100.5 KMQA East Porterville/Visalia/Bakersfield, 100.5 KMEN Mendota, 103.1 KAAT Oakhurst/Fresno, 100.9 KAEH Beaumont/San Bernardino, 103.7 KIQQ-FM Newberry Springs/Barstow and 1310 KIQQ Barstow as well as Soft AC “Soft Hits 1060” KTNS Oakhurst/Fresno and 104.3 K282AE Oakhurst (with CP to move to 107.9 in Victorville rebroadcasting KIQQ). Lazer owns or is in the process of purchasing 32 stations in California and Nevada.
Casa Media Partners has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy since 2015. It sold its three stations in Washington to Bustos Media in June as well as its television assets in Cheyenne WY and Denver.
