Another station has blown up its existing brand with its move to Christmas Music leading to a potential format change after the holidays.
In past years iHeartMedia Oldies “93.5 Chrome-FM” K228BR Tulsa/106.1 KTGX-HD would go all-Christmas but keep its existing branding. This year the station has changed branding to “Christmas 93.5” on-air and renaming their social media properties.
K228BR has aired a 50s/60s based Oldies format with Christmas Music in the holiday season since its launch in early 2009.
