Cumulus Media has cut ties with Classic Hits “Fun 96.9” KQOB Enid/Oklahoma City morning hosts Jack Elliot and Ron Williams after 23 years with the company.
Elliott posted today that the duo were let go following their show today as part of a budget cut. Jack & Ron hosted mornings at Hot AC “98.9 Kiss-FM” KYIS from 1994-2015 before moving down the hall to KQOB in November 2015.
KQOB is owned by Champlin Broadcasting and operated by Cumulus via LMA.

airplane777 says:I am from OKC, I love the Oldies format but “Fun 96.9” just presents them poorly. We need a classic oldies format in this market. I wish that Jack and Ron would return to “98.9 KISS FM” and Joey and Heather would return to “Wild 104.9.”
