Entercom has announced it has hired Vince Richards as Operations Manager for its six stations in Sacramento CA.
Richards most recently served as National Operations Manager for Townsquare Media from 11/2013 until 7/2016. He has also served as Operations Manager for Clear Channel’s clusters in Dallas and Houston and Entercom Kansas City. He has also worked in Buffalo, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Springfield IL, and St. Louis during his career.
Richards fills the opening created by Jim Fox’s move to Dallas as Vice President of Music Programming in December. Entercom owns Alternative “Radio 94.7” KKDO, Classic Rock “Eagle 96.9” KSEG, Rock “98 Rock” 98.5 KRXQ, Rhythmic CHR 102.5 KSFM, CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL, and Sports “ESPN 1320” KIFM in Sacramento.

Richards will oversee programming duties for the cluster’s six stations: KRXQ-FM, KKDO-FM, KUDL-FM, KSEG-FM, KSFM-FM and KIFM-AM.

Richards takes over programming duties from Jim Fox, who was recently named Vice President of Music Programming at Entercom Dallas. Richards has held Operations Manager positions at Entercom Kansas City, as well as at iHeart Media in both Houston and Dallas. He was most recently National Operations Manager at Townsquare Media.
