iHeartMedia Media CHR “Kiss 108” 107.9 WXKS-FM Medford/Boston has appointed Rebekah ‘Bex” Maroun as Executive Producer and co-host for the Matty In the Morning Show.
Maroun joins the station from Entercom Hot AC “96.5 TDY” WTDY-FM Philadelphia where she was hosting afternoons. She has been with the station through its two previous format changes, originally serving as morning show producer and co-host in its “96.5 Amp Radio” CHR days. She also hosted segments for News 1060 KYW, Sports 94.1 WIP and KYW-TV.
She joins incumbent hosts Matt Siegel, Billy Costa and Lisa Donovan filling the role most recently held by Medha Gandhi. Gandhi has since joined the syndicated Elvis Duran Show.
iHeartMedia Boston announced today that Rebekah “Bex” Maroun has been named Executive Producer and Co-Host for Kiss 108’s Matty In The Morning, effective October 1. iHeartMedia Boston has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.
Bex joins the Matty in the Morning team alongside well-known on-air personalities, Matt Siegel, Billy Costa and Lisa Donovan. Bex will replace Medha Gandhi who recently joined the syndicated Elvis Duran & The Morning Show earlier this month.
“I love Bex and can’t wait to work with her,” said Siegel. “Bex is a true talent and I know her creativity and upbeat personality will add a special element to our morning show.”

Bex joins iHeartMedia Boston from 96.5 TDY in Philadelphia where she spent four years as a morning producer, on-air co-host and afternoon drive on-air personality. She also hosted a sports segment on 94 WIP Sports Radio, served as an entertainment reporter for KYW News Radio and assisted in the launch of an entertainment segment — The Hot Minute on CBS 3 TV. In addition, Bex also served as a producer for iHeartMedia’s syndicated show, The Weekend Throwdown with Jagger.
