Former CHR “Energy 93.9” WYRG and Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK Indianapolis Program Director Jay Michaels is returning to Cumulus Media to serve as Program Director/afternoon host at CHR “Q97.3” KQHN Shreveport LA.

Michaels programmed WYRG/WJJK from 2012 until his exit last June. He fills the opening created by Gary Nolan’s exit late last year.

CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed radio programming professional Jay Michaels as Program Director of Hot AC station, Q97.3/KQHN-FM in Shreveport, LA. Michaels will also be on-air on Q97.3 weekdays from 3pm to 7pm. Michaels was previously Program Director for CUMULUS MEDIA’s WJJK and WYNG in Indianapolis, IN.
