As expected Townsquare Media relaunched Top 40 “Hot 97.5” KOLW Basin City WA this morning as “97.5 Kiss-FM“.
The move comes with the addition of the Brooke & Jubal morning show to replace Kidd Kraddick, while the remainder of the on-air lineup will be voicetracked from other Townsquare stations, which the company began quietly rolling out earlier this year. WZOK Rockford IL based ‘Midday Michelle’ will hold that daypart and WPST Trenton NJ’s Edwin ‘EEE’ Guevara will host afternoons. Townsquare’s syndicated PopCrush Nights with Kayla Thomas will round out the lineup.

One of the riddles asking “Of no use for one, yet absolute bliss to two” seems to be the answer to our January 30 Domain Insight regarding the registration of 975KissFM.com which just happens to be redirecting to KOLW’s website.
KOLW is one of two Top 40 stations in the Kennewick/Richland/Pasco market alongside Stephens Media Group’s “Power 99.1” KUJ-FM Burbank. KOLW registered a 2.2 share in Fall 2018 Nielsen Audio ratings, while KUJ-FM does not subscribe.
The station is teasing a relaunch for Monday, March 4 at 6am with the debut of a new morning show.
