Family Life Broadcasting has announced it has sold 830 KFLT and 101.7 K269FV Tucson AZ to Fletcher McCusker’s Tucson Radio LLC for an undisclosed amount.
McCusker is the founder and CEO of SinfonÃa Healthcare and UAVenture Capital. He also serves as President of “KX 93.5” KXRN-LP Laguna Beach CA and of downtown Tucson’s revitalization board.
KFLT/K269FV currently simulcast Family Life Broadcasting’s 104.1 KFLT-FM Tucson, which the group acquired from Scripps last year. They are also in the process of selling 88.5 KTUK Tucson to VCY America.
This is to announce that a contract has been signed and an application is being filed with the FCC for the transfer of radio station KFLT-AM and translator K269FV, Tucson, Arizona, from Family Life Broadcasting, Inc. to Tucson Radio, LLC.
The Seller, Family Life Broadcasting, Inc., is an Arizona not-for-profit corporation headed by Evan Carlson. Family Life Broadcasting owns radio stations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
The Buyer, Tucson Radio, LLC, is an Arizona-based company headed by Fletcher McCusker. The company has no other broadcast interest at this time.
KFLT-AM operates at 830 kHz, with 50kW day and 1kW night. K269FV (FX) operates at 101.7 MHz, with 250 Watts at 1,822’ HAAT.
