The budget cuts that have been ongoing at Entercom clusters across the country this summer has been felt in two more markets this week.
Starting in Los Angeles where Brian Moote has departed mornings at “97.1 Amp Radio” KAMP. Co-hosts Edgar Soltelo and Chelsea Briggs will remain for what will become a more music-intensive show. The trio debuted on KAMP in February 2018 with Moote joining the station from the syndicated Bert Show. He also co-hosted mornings at Modern AC “Click 98.9” KLCK Seattle and was a Los Angeles based standup comedian.
Jenn Marino has departed mornings at “Alt 103.7” KVIL Dallas after a little over a year. Marino joined KVIL in May 2018 after serving as co-host of the Premiere Networks’ Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx. She previously spent a decade at CBS Baltimore in middays at Alternative 99.1 WHFS and co-hosting afternoons on Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX. She has also worked at “98 Rock” WIYY Baltimore and 107.7 KRXO Oklahoma City.
