After dropping its former moniker in early November for the seasonal “Christmas 95.9“, iHeartMedia AC “95.9 Lite-FM” WLTM Mina NY/Erie PA ended its run with holiday standards to become the company’s first FM to move to its All-Podcast lineup.

The newly minted “iHeart Podcast 95.9” is running the same lineup as iHeartMedia’s 1470 WSAN Allentown PA, which was the first station to debut the format this past March.

WLTM’s rimshot signal was intended to chip away at the ratings of Cumulus Media AC “Classy 100” 99.9 WXKC to protect co-owned Variety Hits “94.7 Bob-FM” WXBB and Adult CHR “Star 104” 103.7 WRTS.

iHeartMedia Erie announced today the debut of the iHeartPodcast Channel on 95.9 FM – all the best podcasts, now on your radio – effective immediately.

The iHeartPodcast Channel will broadcast around the clock on 95.9 FM, showcasing today’s most popular podcasts and will allow listeners to discover them through the radio. The new station will be a one-stop shop for a variety of podcasts including trendy shows such as the fan-favorites “Stuff You Should Know,” “Part-Time Genius,” “Broken Harts” and many more.
