Anchor Radio of Louisville sells Gospel “Praize Power 104.7” 1240 WLLV Louisville KY and 1350 WLOU Louisville/104.7 W284AD New Albany IN to New Albany Broadcasting Company for $325,000. An LMA took effect on Wednesday, January 15 to add the stations to a cluster that includes Regional Mexican “Poder 101.9” 1570 WLRS/101.9 W270CR New Albany IN and Southern Rock/Classic Country “My 94.1” 1600 WKYI Eminence/94.1 W231DB LaGrange KY plus a station in Lexington and an LPTV.
Educational Media Foundation acquires 99.9 WFNX Athol MA from Steve Silberberg’s County Broadcasting Company for $250,000. WFNX currently simulcasts AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV Andover/Boston.
Norsan Media acquires Silent 910 WOLI Spartanburg SC from TBLC Media for $150,000 with an LMA starting January 15.
TBLC Media also sells Regional Mexican “1340 La Grande” KDTD Kansas City and 1480 KCZZ Mission KS to Reyes Media Group for $600,000. Reyes, which also leases “La X 1250” KYYS Kansas City from Entercom, already was leasing the two stations.
Red Mountain Ventures sells Silent 1450 WZGX Bessemer/Birmingham AL to Pedro Zamora in exchange for paying off the $200,000 note owed to BAR Broadcasting. Zamora owns Regional Mexican formatted stations “La Z” 1310 WDTW Dearborn/Detroit MI and “La Ley 100.5” KDLS-FM Perry/Des Moines.
Magnum Broadcasting sells Full Service Country 1260 WPHB Phillipsburg and the CP for 104.1 W281CB Phillipsburg PA to Robert Lowe’s Twilight Broadcasting for $95,000.
