MacDonald Garber Broadcasting CHR “106 KHQ” 105.9 WKHQ-FM Charlevoix/Traverse City MI has parted ways with morning hosts Rich ‘Rizzo’ Deaver and Jeff Daly.
The duo stated in a release that “the station wanted to go in a different direction and we are saddened by this news. We both wish to thank MacDonald Garber Broadcasting for believing in us and giving us a chance to do a content heavy and unique morning show. They gave us all the support we could have asked for and we wish them best in the future.”
Rizzo had joined WKHQ in November 2018 after previously hosting mornings at Alpha Media Classic Rock 94.3 WQCM Hagerstown MD. He has also hosted mornings at “92.9 The Beat” KOSP Springfield MO and was part of “The Todd Show” on WPLJ New York as ‘Meatballs’. Daly joined the show in March 2019 after previously being the ‘Rat’ of “Rat & Puff” in mornings at “98.7 Amp Radio” WDZH Detroit, afternoons at “Q102” WIOQ Philadelphia, and nights at 93.3 WFLZ Tampa with Josh ‘Puff’ Foreman.
The duo is seeking opportunities as a team.
