In a filing of the purchase of 94.7 W234AQ Muncy from Family Life Ministries for $100,000, Seven Mountains also notes it will purchase 1050 WLYC Williamsport/92.7 W224AI Loyalsock/102.3 W272ED New Columbia and 1600 WEJS Jersey Shore/104.1 W281AR Williamsport/104.1 W281CI Jersey Shore from Colonial Radio Group. Meanwhile, the bankruptcy trustee that took over Colonial Radio Group in 2016 filed its appointment of Terry Ginn as receiver that took place back then with the FCC this week.
George Hochman’s H Hawaii Media buys Silent 1370 KUPA Pearl City/103.9 K280FC Waipahu HI from Beach Time Broadcast for $55,000. KUPA joins the company’s Hawaiian 1130 KPHI Honolulu and Oldies 101.1 KORL-FM Waianae and three translators the company’s Honolulu holdings.
El Camino Communications donates Spanish Christian 1310 KKNS Corrales/Albuquerque NM to The Navajo Nation.
BAS Broadcasting expands its holdings in Tiffin OH with the purchase of 1600 WTTF/93.3 W227BJ from Tiffin Broadcasting II for $688,000 and the reimbursement of $34,631. The payments were made in $19,000 per month installments starting with the station’s LMA in January 2015.
William Nunley’s Hickman Digital Media acquires Country “Kix 96” 96.7 WNKX-FM Centerville TN from Hickman County Broadcasting Company for $250,000. The purchase will reunite the station with 1570 WMAK Lobelville, which currently simulcasts Country 103.1 WOPC Linden.
Midland Media sells Rock “Total Rock Radio” 96.3 WJAA Austin IN to Rebecca and Brent Schepman’s Social Butterfly Media for $400,000.
Walco Enterprises acquires R&B “Kiss 107.5” 1390 WFHT/107.9 W298BU Avon Park FL from Jhonson Napoleon’s WFHT Inc. for $150,000. Upon closing, WFHT will join the buyer’s “Boss Hogg Radio” network heard on 1360 WHNR Cypress Gardens/1170 WKFL Bushnell/1330 WWAB Lakeland.
Hope Christian Church of Marlton buys Christian Rock “The Truth That Rocks” 90.5 WXGN Somers Point NJ from Joy Broadcasting for $100,000. Following the closing of the sale, the Christian Rock format will continue on 101.1 WXRM-LP Cape May Court House and 107.7 WRWL-LP Galloway NJ.
Minnesota Christian Broadcasters acquires Silent 89.5 KFNK Franklin MN from South Central Oklahoma Christian Broadcasting for $21,000. The buyer operates Christian Preaching “The Word” 91.5 KCFB St. Cloud/102.7 KTIG Pequot Lakes and Christian AC “104.3 The Pulse” WZFJ Breezy Point MN.
