Connoisseur Media continues to ramp up its new Ferocious Media marketing company as it transfers Long Island SVP/Market Manager Jim Condron to the new role of Chief Creative Officer for Ferocious Media. Concurrently, Connoisseur Chief Operating Officer David Bevins will assume the day-to-day management of the Long Island stations.
Condron joined Connoisseur in October 2014 following the company’s purchase of WALK AM/FM from the Aloha Stations Trust to join its existing holdings. He served as General Manager of WALK AM/FM for Aloha and Clear Channel for 12 years and previously worked in sales for Clear Channel New York and Barnstable Broadcasting Long Island.
Looking into a post-Covid world, Connoisseur continues to build out its newly formed Ferocious Media, a full-service marketing company. As part of this expansion, Jim Condron has been appointed Chief Creative Officer of Ferocious. Condron has been the Senior Vice President and market manager of Connoisseur’s Long Island cluster.
Ferocious began a search to find an experienced executive to lead up its creative function. As parameters for the position were laid out, company CEO Jeff Warshaw realized he had the ideal candidate more or less “in house”. “We talked about the skills the person would need in the job and realized the ideal candidate was in our midst in the form of Jim Condron, who was running our Long Island operation” said Warshaw. “I’m excited for Jim and our company that he agreed to take the role. He has proven himself as a true leader and visionary. I can’t imagine a better person to oversee creative and lead the crafting of terrific campaigns for clients of Ferocious Media” stated Warshaw.
“Having spent decades developing creative campaigns for clients, this opportunity will allow me to be part of leading the charge in creating a world-class, full-service marketing company in Ferocious Media; I am incredibly excited about what we can build” said Condron.
David Bevins, Chief Operating Officer for Connoisseur, will assume the market manager’s position in Long Island and oversee the day-to-day operation of the Connoisseur Media radio properties. Connoisseur CEO Warshaw stated “David will assume the duties of running Long Island along with his COO duties. We are fortunate to have an experienced top-notch talent such as David in the Company for this very important role.” Bevins added “I’m excited to be leading our team in Long Island. I look forward to meeting our clients and becoming an integral part of the community.”
