A format change may be in the offing at M-10 Broadcasting Classic Hits “Q1370” WQLL Pikesville/Baltimore and 99.9 W260BV Aberdeen MD.
Local morning host Ken ‘Merson Person’ Merson and midday host Diane Lyn have exited the station, with Merson stating a format change is forthcoming. WQLL is currently running jockless.
Merson joined WQLL in October 2018 after a long run in the Baltimore market including time at 680 WCBM, “B104” WBSB, “101.9 Lite-FM” WLIF, 102.7 and 105.7 WQSR, and “Mix 106.5” WWMX. Merson has also worked at WOLX Madison, WIAD Washington DC, and programmed SiriusXM’s “Sixties On 6“.
Diane Lyn had just joined WQLL in January. She had exited Entercom AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF in July 2019 after a two decade run in middays. She has also worked in Baltimore at AC 92.3 WYST, Country 93.1 WPOC and Oldies 105.7 WQSR.
